Have never been stranded by this car, very reliable. Serious head turner, elicits attention wherever it goes. Multiple show winner; more than 20 trophies over last 10 years. My goal when searching for a car 5 years ago was to find something that was mechanically and cosmetically sound. This car needed virtually nothing, but I have still improved items here and there over the last 5 years of ownership. Car is covered and stored in climate controlled garage and driven ONLY when the roads are completely dry and the weather is near perfect. This car has NEVER been driven in rain during my 5 years of ownership. I have driven the car maybe 500 miles in 5 years. Perfect 1970 Corvette convertible for someone not looking for a project, who doesn’t have the time or money for costly repairs, who wants to begin driving the car right away with confidence that it has been professionally updated and cared for.

1970 Corvette facts:
-Only 6,648 convertibles made in 1970. Lowest overall production year in the C3 era.
-Last year of higher compression engines.
-Manufactured on 3/24/1970.

$27,000 or best offer

Ok, so I have a question and I'm just gonna ask. For a vert like this one, can you have a hardtop made that could also be t-tops so you can have the best of all three worlds?

I don't mean to be partial, but this is an excellent year and body style.

Beautiful car with nice tasteful mods. My first vette was a 70 vert so I am very partial to them.

One question. What is up with the front turn signal lenses? Did you purchase the car this way?

You are making me want to buy this car.

Geez. That is super clean. If I had the money, I'd have the car! That's exactly what I was looking for about a year ago and couldn't find it... Ended up buying another C5. LOL

Just a guess, my bet is sometime in it's history they were damaged, or stolen? You're looking 6-700.00 to replace them. 69 grills are WAY cheaper.
Beautiful 70! Someone will grab regardless of the grills.
Good luck!
Glenn

Yes, you could easily replace the front grills for '70 egg crates. I would have done it, but they are expensive and i spent my money in other areas of the car. Car has WAY too much to offer to pass on that alone. I was same way when I bought it....that aspect just did not outweigh all of the great things about it, so I bought it as-is.

In case anyone is wondering why I am selling...I have my eye on a few fully restored SB C3's and a couple of driver/original LT-1's. Next car I get is the one I keep forever, or atleast the plan, so it has to be very nice and collectible.

Thank you.

I've said that once or twice myself. Looks like you really took good care of her. Good Luck with the sale Tony.
