What part of Iowa you in? Can you post more pictures of the car?
Car is located in Ft. Dodge (50501). I do not have anymore pics right now, but am planning on going out today to take some more. I will post some soon.

Yes Sir, L-82 convertibles are rare. The market has been pretty tight the last year, GLWS. Yes, I like Torch Red too, It really stands out on these C-3 convertibles.

HawkIVette, I think you are well positioned at $18K to be honest. I sold a very nice 50K mile, extremely documented '75 convertible about a year ago for $23.5K. It had one repaint (Med.Bright Blue Metallic with Silver Leather) base engine, automatic, new soft top and original hard top with original lacquer paint. The L82 is a very desirable upgrade for this car and the only thing that would make it better would be a 4 speed. I see you still have the smog pump (which is usually missing). Do you still have the catalytic converter? The color change is a wash because whatever devaluation the color change may cause it is offset by the fact that the original Saddle Tan is less desirable by the same amount. If you don't need to sell, hang in there. Guys wanting nice examples of the "last corvette convertible" as GM touted back then are out there and this one should sell come spring. Good luck with your sale.
