'77 Stars and Stripes Vette...WITH PICS
For Sale...my '77 T-Top...with a newly rebuilt, slightly rodded 350, with new Am Racing wheels... custom interior AND custom paint. This was first an AZ car...then lived in warm and sunny southern Utah where it was rebuilt. It's .040 over with everything balanced and align bored, cam, rods, roller rockers, heads (Vortex) ported and polished..Edelbrock manifold, valve covers and air cleaner. Mallory ignition, aluminized headers into Dynomax duals. Has a new torque converter, B&M shifter and Line Lock. Has ARP wheels studs and the new wheels...15x8". Just put in a new master cyclinder so it stops too. The car is in Utah...and it's ready to run. $10,900 takes it...and you will be amazed at how many people want to stop and talk. Drive it or show it! Call to come and drive it...Mike 435-649-7743.

Do you expect to get a buyer without pictures?

Work History
Receipts I have show work started in '02...engine work...then car was painted...no receipts...no info. Owner/builder told me the car (finished) has less than 2k miles on it. He with (2) two DUI'S didn't drive it...and his son ended up selling it to me....It idles at 70 pounds oil pressure, paint shines like a new penny and the upholstery and everything else I have looked at appear in super shape. It is at a Chevy specialist shop right now...getting a carb tune (Holley). He is interested in car but wants trade me a BMW for it. I would much rather sell it. I'll look up your location on the map...I sometimes get to St George during the winter to golf. Maybe would can get together for a Viewing. Thanks, Mike

Cool, have you checked for the infamous rust areas that everyone has been telling me to make sure I check? How long have you had it? I see there is a dashmat, are there any cracks underneath it?
Thanks,
Jen

Rust free---
Jen, I spent a number of hours under the car...did not see one iota of rust. As i said, it first lived in Arizona...then Southern Utah..or as we call it Dixie. I have owned the car less than a year...bought it to go Vintage Racing...then the doc said Mikee, you got a little heart problem...we are not going racing. I'm lucky, probably that I got the word before I started ripping and stripping to put the Roll cage in etc. I bought the wheels, put the ARP wheel studs in, put the mastercylinder in ...crawled all over the car...checking everything...except--- I have not looked under the dash pad. I will certainly check it tomorrow..as I'm going over to the mech's house before the Super Bowl. I'll tell you my findings then. Thanks for your inquiries...Mike

Dash and rust...No problems
OK Jen...the dash looks super. I guess the guy covered it to keep it looking like that. I see no sign of rust anywhere. Mechanic says the little hesitation was in the distributor...he hoped to get to it today. Other than that it runs like a top. I am supposed to have an offer tonight from from a local. I'll let you knowwhat he has to say. Thanks again , Mike

Mike, thanks for keeping me updated! Hopefully in the near future we'll be able to meet so I can check it out. Will be going to Boise the 18th to look at a couple cars there. I will let you know how that goes and maybe we can go from there. Thanks, Jen
