FS in PA: 1968 Corvette Stingray Convertible 327/350, Black/Black, white top
1968 Corvette Stingray convertible . 327cid., 4 speed trans., 79k miles, two tops, white soft top and black hard top, two sets of wheels and tires, the additional set are the factory aluminum turbine style wheels. Only 3,000 miles in last 12 years, new frame installed a few years ago at Grabiak Chevrolet Dealer, ( at a cost of nearly $8,000.00 , have receipts ). Cars underside is very nice and frame/birdcage/body mounts are rust free. All service work done at same dealer for last 15 years. Nice car , original paint and chrome are starting to show some wear. Runs excellent . Have extra hood, some new N.O.S. Parts still in GM boxes, new window felts, some chrome trim. Possible trade 10k cash plus ?
19500.00 obo...reduced to 16,500.00!! in order to do a deal here.

Can you send some interior pics? Also, some engine bay pics would help as well.

What are "factory aluminum turbine wheels?" From 1982?
Is the other hood the original?
Car looks nice.

Looks like it may well be an original 900 code Black car (trim tag photo in the e bay ad--see below).
"Frame replaced 8 years ago"---gotta wonder about the rocker channels, pillar posts, windshield frame, body mounts, etc. with regard to rust.

Underbody is very clean. Frame was replaced because the owner got scammed essentially. His local dealership claimed the frame was soft and uninspectable. He later found the frame was sold by one of the mechanics. Point is, the car is fine as a driver and is a great basis for a restoration. Car needs some tlc, but its something you can drive now and work on over time if you wish.
It should be told that I am assisting a friend to sell this. He is not computer savvy so, I am assisting his efforts. This is a good vehicle for the money.

You're killing me with this right in my backyard. I'd love to have a '68 since I am also a '68 model. Major kitchen renovation in progress has sucked up all of my car money for the foreseeable future though... Good luck with the sale!
