1969 L89 427/435(NOM) LeMans Blue For Sale in Illinois
* I am selling this for a friend and inquiries can be direct to me.
* I have received authorization from the Moderators to start this thread.
1969 LeMans Blue factory L89 car with a restamped 512 block. The engine has been restored with the exception of the distributor and wires. My friend asked me to help him sell his car since he is battling some health issues. Len has owned this car since 1994 and did the body-off restoration himself. It is not a Bloomington Gold car but a very nice above average driver.
Options:
A82 Headrests
G81 Positraction
J50 Power Brakes
K66 Transistor Ignition
L89 427/435 with Aluminum Cylinder Heads
M21 4 Speed
N14 Side Mount Exhaust
N40 Power Steering
U69 AM/FM Radio (Works)
Mileage: 36,027 ( No proof)
At this time the car is sporting an L88 hood (GM), carb and intake. The original 3x2 carbs, intake and air cleaner are include. Also, the factory hood which was paint at the same time as the rest of the car is included. Further, a Tremac 5 Speed is in the car now. At 70MPH the engine is turning 2300RPM. The orignal 4 speed is in the Tremac box awaiting the new owner. Yesterday, I drove the car in 90+ humid conditions and it ran and started fine.
$42,500 OBO
Thank you in advance and please contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks for the kind words. I thought it would have sold by now too. If it does not sell soon I am going to sell two of my Corvettes to buy this one.
Thanks,
George
