Default 1970 LT-1 for sale

I'm putting up my restored 1970 LT-1 coupe for sale. I purchased the car about ten years ago and it has been a project car on and off since and the only driving has been to a shop and back or around the block for a test of items it was worked on so it has just a couple hundred miles put on since 1988.

The car has gone through a body off restoration and is numbers matching. Rather than list a lot of info here I have modified my restoration site for the car to reflect the car now and through the restoration instead of just the restoration. The site is 1970lt1restoration.com and should have more than enough info to answer any questions. I have gone through great pains, years of part searching, hundreds of hours of work, and countless hours on forums and shows in the restoration process to get it back to original.

I am selling the car for personal reasons and have no place to keep it for storage or to work on so I have priced it for quick sale at $29,000. No I am not firm on that price...I am willing to accept more, but not less, so please don't come back with silly offers, $28,999.99 will NOT take this car home nor get a response from me. Thanks.

very nice! Looks like my '68 (now owned by 54greg).

Timing is bad otherwise I'd jump on it. GLWS.

Is the car running roller rockers or has it been converted back to stock adjustables?

Yes the car is still for sale. I was up at the lake for the holiday week and ATT doesn't pick up there so I'm getting back to all the emails and PM's. I don't jump on the forum often anymore so Email is better to get in touch. because I was going out of town I didn't list it local yet and am holding off a little while on that because of the interest from here and the web site to give everyone that responded a chance to get their questions answered.

OK guys and gals, I've had a few questions about the insides of the engine on this car. I took a high res picture of the rockers with the covers off and the Cam Spec card over to Barnett Performance in Atlanta, if you build racing engines or performance cars that is where you go for your gear. Some asked about the rockers so I inquired what it would cost to swap those to OEM (not that I am going to do that) and I was first asked "why? these are a nice upgrade". I was curious in case someone wanted make it "original"...price a whopping $79.81, if you were wanting to downgrade the engine. Next I asked about the Cam and he went through the specs and mentioned that it was a plenty fine cam. When I had the heads resurfaced the mechanic mentioned that the pistons were TRW, which is what Chevy used. I've attached a scan of the Cam Spec card and a high res pic of the valves. Hope that answers your questions. I've updated the web site with this information also.

Cam Specs:
