Default WTT/FS 1973 Resto-mod LS1/T56 L88 Flare

Hello All,

I been playing with the idea of selling or trading my baby. I just got her on the road about amonth ago and she runs and drives great. Started as a stock 73 l48 with AC. It now has a nice ls1/t56 combo. The ls1 has a ls6 intake and cam, under drive pullie, headers. Newly painted HOK brandywine/black with 3 coats of PPG clear. All bushings have been replaced.

Toyo Tq Proxes
275/40
345/40

Vintage Wheel Works v48
17x9.5
17x11

ACI l88 Flares

Now with the cons
  • no ac, but all it needs is compressor and mounts. everthing else is there.
  • needs a slight alighment.
  • front and rear glass have a crack
  • no gauges work, but have a temporary heat gauge

$18,000 firm

Are you referring to this particular Vette, or in general?

I've been thinking about doing one myself, but have not
found the right car to start with so far.

Well I used a LS1/t56 out of a 02 Camaro along with the standard position conversion mount plates. Hedman block hugger headers. Walbro 255 inline pump. C5 dual electric fans. Wire it up with the 4 pink wires to the ignition with the relays and enjoy.

Looks great. With the major upgrade in power has the suspension been upgraded? None of the gauges work; does that mean it needs a new wiring harness? Do the lights go up and down without any problems? How many miles did the LS1 have on it before you put it in the 73? GLWTS

There was no mods to the suspension, however the front has been completely rebuilt, bushings, tie rods, wheels and tire have less than 500 miles.

I'd be interested in seeing pics of the engine/tranny, chassis, and interior.
