FS 1972 454, 4 spd Convertible Matching #'s
SOLD - SOLD - SOLD- SOLD- SOLD
Selling my 72 Roadster with matching number 454 that was rebuilt in 1991, 27,000 miles ago. It has its original matching number 4spd transmission as well. , Air, PS, PW, Tilt, Deluxe Leather interior, 3:08 posi rear end for great highway cruising and the 454 has the power to make the 3:08 gears work.
Car is a great driver that starts right up with no smoke, runs and drives as it should. Headlights and Wiper Door work, new wiper motor but still not working.
This car is largely original and unmolested. The carb belongs to a '71 Corvette, not sure about the distributor. Paint is good driver quality but has some nicks - still very presentable. Was originally Targa Blue. Have the tank sticker and order sheet.
Interior is excellent condition with perfect leather and new carpet, nice dash. Brand new white Al Knoch soft top and also has the Auxiliary Hardtop. The frame is solid and the suspension had new bushings, etc in 2009. Rear trailing arms, half shafts, bearings and brakes were also rebuilt in 2009. Born on 10/18/71. This car is turn key and a joy to drive.
$34,500 / best offer 510-316-6688

Aside from back in the '70's, in Colorado, in the winter, when my '66 roadster was my only mode of transportation, I have only stored the hardtops of my convertibles...never used one. But you're right, they do look good.

Burning Brakes
Bump for dreamline. I recently drove this car. It is a gem. May be the best driving C3 I've driven and definitely the best BB I've driven.
