Available for purchase, is this beautiful & iconic, 1982 Chevrolet Corvette, the "last of the Sharks." This is the last year of this body style.
It looks, runs and drives excellent and gets a lot of attention wherever it goes. The paint was professionally done a year ago and looks fantastic with very few imperfections showing. The original polished alloys and center caps are in excellent condition. The interior; carpets, dash console and steering wheel are in excellent shape as well. All power features are working properly including windows, all gauges & flip up headlamps. A/C operates, but is not cooling.

MODEL YEAR FACTS
1982 was the first full production year for the Corvette in its new birth place of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Also unique to the Corvette in '82 was a new automatic transmission four speed with overdrive, utilizing a higher first gear ratio for acceleration. Another unique fact about the 1982 Corvettes is the standard automatic transmission, with 1953 and 1954 being the only other years that did not offer the option of a manual transmission. 1982 was also the first year since the original C1 generation of Corvettes that a manual transmission was not available. The L83 350 ci small block featured Cross-Fire-Injection for the first time, combining two injectors and a computer capable of making 80 adjustments per second. Despite being an older car, this Corvette is loaded with amenities like power steering, power brakes, and power windows, so you can enjoy driving this classic, but take advantage of more modern luxury items. Other great features that make this car fun to drive are the t-tops, so you can opt for the open-area cruising experience on a nice summer day.
