For Sale 1970 Convertible 4speed Red
1970 Corvette Convertible, Two top , Four Speed
Vin: 194670S410416
Build Date: May 27, 1970
Paint: 974 Monza Red
Trim: 400 Black Vinyl
Engine pad: V0518CTD
This is an extremely nice, two top 70 Corvette Roadster. It is equipped with M20 four speed, Power Steering and AM/FM Radio. All components are original to the car with the exception of the carb and starter. This car still retains the original Goodyear Speedway Wide Tread Spare! Also has the original exhaust tips. The car presently has around 89000 miles on it, but fewer that 5000 miles have been put on the car in the last 15 years.
You could call this a frame on restoration. The engine has a new cam/lifters and minor head work done in 1998. The body was stripped and painted in 2000. No prior damage found. The paint and trim are show quality to this day. The interior was refreshed in 2003 using Al Knock materials. This Corvette sits and feels correct in every manner. All the fiber optics work.
Has a white soft top and a black vinyl hard top. The soft top is showing some slight wear.
I have most owner history, receipts for work done and restoration photos which will pass to the new buyer. I also have two appraisals which were done in 2002 for 24000 and 25000.
I hope if you find this car one you have been looking for that you give it serious thought. This is not a average C3. It is a very nice, if not too nice C3 which looks and drives as a 1 year old car. Great attention to detail throughout.
Asking $32500. The car is located in Charleston South Carolina. I have the South Carolina Tile in my name.

Beautiful car. Just a bit over my price range, and really looking for a coupe with A/C (I live in TX), but this one really tempts me to change my mind on the coupe/convertible thing. GLWS!

Here is my 2 cents, This is a fantastic deal, in fact other than not having tilt/tele it is EXACTLY the car I would want! I do not think it is over priced, I think it is pretty fair considering how nice it is (believe me I have been burned in the past I can spot a pig with lipstick on).
The key spots show well, the oil pan looks clean. If I were you I would snap a pic of the bird cage (the windshield frame area) as that is a notorious rust place on these cars.
I am finishing up my Impala Convertible, getting it ready to sell, if this were a few months from now I would be your Huckleberry for sure.
