If you're serious, I have an L82-auto, VIN 0009, with 25 original miles.
$37500 firm.

Click on my Corvette photos I have a real nice 80 L-82 all original with 39K miles on it. I'm located in Nebraska. I do not have it listed for sale but do plan to sell or trade it soon. If interested I can get you more information and images.

Yep, dark claret metallic, over doeskin, I'm slammed right now with work I'll post some additional pics and a complete description later. The car is not perfect but an very nice 9.5 of 10 in all aspects. I have enough documentation to support the mileage is actual 39,6XX. It's always been garaged. The air blows cold and everything works even the goofy alarm.

My price is $14,500.00 firm

1980 L-82 auto 39,6xx miles.
Dark Claret Metallic over Doeskin leather.
Options: See image of Windows sticker.
All dealer paperwork including original warranty and owners manual.
The car was purchased locally from a small Chevy dealer in Seward NE about 30 miles west of Lincoln. I'm the third owner and the car has always been owned locally.

It is all original including the smog equipment and cat and exhaust. The air blows cold and everything works, including the twilight sentinel, power antenna, and alarm.

The body is very nice, all bonding strips are clean and the bumpers are original urethane, the car has always been garaged and the straightness of the bumpers indicates how little time it has spent in the sun. The color combo is very unique, I’ve seen many dark claret cars but all of them have had dark claret interiors. I have yet to see Claret over Doeskin with and L-82 motor. The car is desirable.

Why this car is not perfect:
It is a repaint, the color is correct as indicated by the documentation and trim tag. The paint work is better than most.
The glass roof on the driver side has a crack, again, if not pointed out, most will never see it. I have been sourcing one but I have not found one yet, they are expensive. My price considers the value of the roof.
The exhaust “Y” pipe from the cat to the mufflers is rusting out. They are not that expensive but the reason I have not corrected it has to do with who might by the car. If it goes to a state where emissions are an issue the cat may be needed. For the same if not less money I would install true duals and wake it up a bit.

No problem, I'm a little curious as to why a C7 guy wants a C3? I've had many C3 corvettes over the years. I love the C3 style because they are from my time and I'll always keep my 75 but I'd be hard pressed to believe there is a C3 out there that truly wouldn't need something, if not today it will. They are 40 yr old cars. You can replace a C3 engine for the cost of C7 tires. they are entirely different cars.

I've really enjoyed my C5 and now I'm in the market for a C6. I've already negotiated a trade so if the 80 doesn't sell by the time I find the right C6 for me it will be on some car lot for 19K. I may go ahead and just list it.

To answer your question. I've always loved the big front fenders

I don't think you really have to do anything to this one. Replacing the exhaust and one top (if that bothers you) is nothing.

If I was shopping for a 1980-82 it'd be an '82 Collector Edition because I had one and like the color, or a 1980 L-82 because that's the only optional engine that was available in that body style. This one has low miles, documentation, a nice color combination, and is priced right.

Good luck!

If you are still looking I have a very nice !978 documented Pace car L82 4 speed with the rare cloth and leather seats. I believe that only 40 of these were produced. I have owned the car 2 years and bought it from a judge in Michigan who owned the car for about 35 years. No accidents and had the car repainted so it looks brand new. Very nice interior. PM me if interested. Car is in Michigan
