Got it from the 2nd owner who purchased it from the original owner in 1976. I made a copy of the original 1976 title before I titled it. It is a very original car. The PO said that the engine was rebuilt about 4 years ago and it runs real strong. Even thought it was rebuilt I still went ahead and did the following because I wanted to know what was done:
Spark plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor, PCV valve, air filter, thermostat & gasket, coolant flush, oil change with Brad Penn oil, valve cover gaskets, fuel filter, carburetor rebuild, choke pull-off assembly, choke spring, belt, wiper blades, hard lines to fuel pump rubber fuel lines, sun visors (originals included) and both bumpers.
At some point this car had a pearl coat sprayed on it. When I got it the bumpers were falling apart so I put on brand new bumpers. They do not match the old paint 100% but the car does look good for a driver. The door jams are still the original paint. You can even see the bonding strips. Everything works on the car. I even drove it roughly 400 miles to Watkins Glen for Vintage weekend and it ran great. One unique thing on this 1974 is that under the deck lid the word 'Special' is written on it. I have asked around and have not gotten an answer to what it could mean. I saw the tank sticker but can not read any of it to see if anything special is written on it. When I cleaned it up I tried to preserve the originality of the car. But I did paint the block because when it was rebuilt the block was painted black. This is my personal car that I have titled in my name but I have it on the lot at the dealership that I work at. I have all of the numbers at work and will include them. Also I have a ton of pictures that I will include a link to them all.
Here are some pictures:
If you have any questions just let me know. Thanks

It is perfect. No tears or holes. If the deal falls through I will take pictures of the foot wells and show how nice it is.
Thanks
