Default 1977 For Sale. S.Florida

1977 Corvette 65,707 Original miles. Four - previous owners. (have all three names and info.) Have Original Tank sticker. Refurbishment of the car started with previous owner with the milage at 62K five years ago. Have ALL receipts. Have a CD from previous owner of all work he did. Have a Book that was made of all the work I have done. Can be a nice daily driver. I use it only on my days off. Exterior paint origianl corvette Orange. Interior was changed from Buckskin to Black Leather. Has one year only horn button and telescopic lever. Which was a recall. Also has Original "FireStone 500" spare which was also a recall. Luggage rack With T-Top Holders. Original alarm system still operational, Power steering, power brakes, Power windows, Upgraded radio. L-48 motor with TH350 transmission. Transmission has a shift kit installed. Have all original parts. A/C works but is NOT awesomly cold do to its original Condeser. Switched over to R-134. Motor has ALOT of work done. To much to list everything. Kept all original parts. I assume it has 300 HP, with the Cam, Timing chain, Manifold, Headers, Underdrive pulleys, Pushrods, Valve springs installed. True Dual Exhaust. All drive shafts sand blasted and coated. Main drive shaft was balanced. The frame has been coated with POR-15. All four tires new. Has won a few "peoples choice" trophies. Exterior is all original just the way it left the dealer, except for the two L-48 hood emblems. Interior all original except for color change, Radio, 1966 Door pulls, and the shift **** was changed from Black to Chrome. Now for the flaws: The paint is a 10 footer to me. Mainly because the drivers side rear top panel the paint is wearing thin and primer is about to be shown. Car is 38 years old. I put a 1/4 size slit in the passenger side seat. Right lower back. (Forgot I had a pocket knife and the clip dug in while I was getting out) DUHH. The wipers work sporadically. The Cruise Control is not operational, But all parts are there. Asking $15,900.

Thank you.

Thank you, I built those a couple years back. Out of 2x12's and 3/4" ply. They are 18" high. Great for getting under car and sitting. And also to keep the kids at bay with scratches.

Thank you for the nudge. Your car is one of the reasons I decided to sell.! I believe I may have mine listed a bit to high. But when I look at the condition of others and their asking price, I'm just unsure. Hard to read the valuations of C3's at times.

Default orange 77

Nice looking car. Not a fan of the color orange, but orange vets look great. Question for you, where did you get your hood liner?

A few years back there was a forum member that was selling these. I believe they are aircraft firewall protectors. I don't remember the price. I'll have to look into it.

Thank you David. It's bitter sweet. The new owner will be picking her up tomorrow. Orig. I was going to go after "Deron" 73. But the only way I was "allowed" to sell it from my daughter, she had a stipulation. She's 14, her older brother and sister have mustangs. She wants a 53/54 chevy pick-up. Baby blue. So I will be on the hunt for a nice frame and body project. Her and I will rebuild it together. Like my son did with me on the vette. So I don't see a vette in my future for another 7 years. Thats when I retire. Then I'll try to buy yours. LOL.

Yeah probably a BB Bumper. Maybe something that I can go REAL crazy on customize like the 70's.

Now how can you blame her for that!!! 53/54 Chevy pick-up, how cool is that. Had a friend that did a 46 with an Olds engine, came out very nice. Fun stuff. I will keep my eyes open up and around here for that as well. You know, I would post something in the "other car" area of the corvette forum, and let the forum members look for you as well.
Couldn't hurt. Best of success.
David
