Hello, I am considering selling my 1969 Coupe in hopes to fund my dream car (a C2 or C1). If it does not sell, I will not be to upset
Here are some specs on my car:
1969 Corvette Coupe, Its a "Road Race Replica" car build by Stan at
2nd Generation Restorations here in Mass.
Body is straight and clean, colors are 1979 Cadillac Mediterranean Blue Fire mist Metallic with 1969 Corvette Can AM white. Finished off with some fine red pinstripes. Approximately 2000 miles on the built and a little over 90k miles original on the car. Period correct aluminum bucket headlights w/ color matches Lexan covers. Period correct Marchal fog lights.
She currently does NOT have the period correct vinyl decal on her but any good sign shop can make them with your number and designs for cheap money.
ZZ4 Fast Burn GM crate motor w/alum heads, MSD ignition and timing box, Hooker Side pipes (painted period correct white), Holley Red Fuel pump, Holley 650 DP Carb (turned to perfection!), 20 gallon SS Fuel Cell,
VB&P mono leaf/A-arm front suspension, Daytona 5-leaf rear spring, All new brakes, rotors, pads all around. clean undercarriage, frame and bird cage. M21 Close ratio trans w/ new clutch and Hurst shifter, 3:70 rear end.
Interior: brand new seat covers, door panels etc. Original carpet and most trim pieces. Autometer gauges in center stack. Heater core removed and custom shifter console w/ fuel pump and light switches.
Racing lap belts, S&W rear hoop roll bar (also had cross bar that goes from hoop thru passenger floor to frame but that was removed for daily driving). Also includes matching period correct racing seats (just remove the stock seats and install the racing seats).
Wheels and tires: Rally's painted matching Can AM white with brand new Mickey-T tires 255's all around (maybe 100 miles on them) and also 17" gun metal grey Torque-Thrust reproduction wheels with brand new Nitto NT555 tires 255 rears, 245 fronts. (approx. 1000 miles).
This was my three season daily driver. All light work, wipers work (have to manually open cowl). NO dings, dents or scratches. Fast, fun and turns heads everywhere!
Asking $35k but money talks. Also would consider trades towards a C1 or C2.
PM me if you are interested! Thanks!

I have been looking at the Second Generation site and drooling over an Owens-Corning tribute. I like your car very much, but I'm a sucker for flared fenders. I'm betting adding them after the fact would be difficult, pricey, and no guarantees the paint would match. I have a 69 L88 recently rebuilt on a stand in my garage in search of a car to put it in. But at 64, I'm probably wiser to look for something "done"----is there a phone number I can reach you? Or you can call my cell most days (330) 618-2617.

I can't believe this car hasn't sold. I've owned 2 of Stan's 2nd Generation Automotive Restoration cars and the quality of his work is second to none. I was about to pull the trigger on this car myself, but due to serious family health issues, I elected not to. Whoever buys this car will get a very well built car. Good luck with the sale Jim.

Jim, just curious, did you end up finding a buyer or just decide to keep it?
