WTB 1969-71 Big block T-Top Coupe 30-35K$ "driver" [QC, Canada]
Hi.
Decided 2015 is the year I do get my long awaited Vette. I'm in Montreal, Quebec (Canada) and have to look at US cars as choice is much larger than here. I have someone here to take care of picking up the car and doing all the work.
So what do I want?
Well I want to actually drive the thing around during summer so going for a showroom level car wouldn't probably be the best idea. That's why I said "driver". But still, not looking for a made up car with parts made from 4 different cars from 4 different years.
Ideal would be 1970 LS5 Laguna Gray with t-top, PB, PS and AC. Preferably 4 speed but I'd manage with an automatic. For 1970, I would also consider Corvette Bronze, Cortez Silver, both blue and Classic White.
1971 would also come with the LS5, same equipment as above. Colorwise, Steel Cities Gray, War Bonnet Yellow, Nevada Silver, both blue and Classic White.
1969 would come with 427, same equipment as above. Colorwise,
Cortez Silver, Riverside Gold, Lemans Blue or Can-Am White.
I have to unload my HD with sidecar to make room in the garage first. I can start working on that now as what looks like spring finally arrived. So optimally I wouldn't get it next week but again, wouldn't pass on a good deal.
And I know these different years go for different prices. Just show me if you think your car would fit the above description.
Thanks

Good luck with the search. I hear you on supply; I live in Toronto and there are only seven C3's within 100 miles between 1969 and 1972 when you search autotrader.ca.
Try Kijiji; there seem to be more there than autotrader.ca.
This (Corvette Forum) is a good place to look; when you buy a Forum member's car, the odds are much higher that you will get "the real deal.''

Check out this thread on Page 2 of this forum.
1972 LT-1 Coupe, NCRS Top Flight, Targa Blue, Black, M21, 4.11
It is a gorgeous Coupe offered by PZCG that is well priced. I would be all over it if our dollar was worth more than Canadian Tire money.

Sure looks like a nice ride. Thanks for that. But even the F/S 1970 LT-1 Convertible on page 1 by Thread Baron is pretty much in what I'm looking for. Just not excited about the green. And since I've been waiting for a loooong time, my view is to wait for one to WOW me.

I'm going to Spring Carlisle on Tuesday (opens Wednesday) and while it's not Corvettes of Carlisle, there are usually some Corvettes for sale.
I am hoping against hope to find something, but with an $.80 dollar, it would have to be really well priced.
If I see something that's beyond my desire to pay, I'll grab a name and number for you.

My '72 is on page 2 and I would consider a reasonable offer. Unless you hate red, it's an original , numbers matching, 454, 4speed, a/c ,with 59,600 original miles. If you have any interest, you can call or text me@ 1-928-899-4387. Norm

I have a 68 with 28,000 miles, except the color is Safari Yellow and several thousand over your base price....its a one owner car.....
You can google me at Walts Puffer race cars or by Wally Knoch.... .If the offers are enough I may sell several toys as I have sold the auto parts business and the 15000 sq foot warehouse with and no place to hide the cars....I certainly will not put them outside..and.I can currently only keep 5 or 6..... Or build another building to house them
