F/S 76 original owner Southern car
Original owner, asking $14,950.
We bought this car in Louisville, KY with every option available except standard transmission and the L82 package. It has been an every day driver since purchased and has 226,000 miles. The engine was rebuilt with flat top cast iron pistons and a mild cam. The heads have been done since rebuild. The drive train in original and thus number matching. Original water pump, seat covers and side windows that are now in the attic will go with car. There might be some other parts also.
New paint two years ago and new tires this year. Everything works on the car, except I am having problems solving vacuum system for heater. That is why, when you look at the pictures, you will see the right side of the dash and instrument cluster removed. I may or may not have this solved before someone buys.
Other than the vacuum system, the only repairs one would need to make are a carburetor adjustment and left rear bearing support and left rear brakes and rotor. The carburetor is original but needs adjusting as it will fall down when really nailed. When replacing the left rear bearing I dropped the assembly out of the vise and bent and ear. That is why the parts need to be replaced.
As you know the C3's leak. Thus the floor pans have been replaced.
