Default 1969 corvette coupe L71 427/435

This 69 has the original LR engine, m21 trans and (3:36) NOT original rear housing. Since my possession I had carbs restored, resurfaced flywheel, installed new clutch and pressure plate. I also replaced calipers, rotors and hoses. All power steering components have been replaced. Installed new radial redline tires. The seats have been recovered and new carpets installed. Engine has new solid lifter cam and correct dated cylinder heads, just reworked (new valves and springs). Installed new side exhaust pipes and covers.
Since I'm a full disclosure guy it needs: TI distributor, amp is installed. Paint is fresh. Rear exhaust panel is molded in to rear qtrs, done sometimes in its early life, not by me :-( I have some new visors and weather strip for the car. Could also use some new door panels. Car drives straight and shifts nice . Basically the car needs someone with time to work out the bugs. It has been sitting for a long time. call me at 907-227-4064 or email joevette@gci.net Seriousinquires only. Need to be around $45k for the car. Serious Offers will be considered. Sold As-is :-) Front and rear suspension completely rebuilt and aligned, drives great but runs a little rough. New rear spindles ,bearings, shocks etc. Interior needs some trim panel work. Previous owner had car since 1984 in Nevada . NO RUST.

I'm sorry man, I didn't understand your reply? Did this car start off as a frame off restoration?

Or was it a frame on restoration?

No restoration at all. I cleaned up a car that sat in a body shop for three years or so. Needs more attention.

I think the price is good. The ad does sound like you are selling a project where in actuality you are selling a great big block Corvette that just needs a few thing, which they all do. I would repost another ad and take out that first photo with the hood and wheel covers missing. That is not the current way the car sits so it doesn't need to be there. List the good parts and just list the few things it needs. Get some better pictures and it should sell. This car looks like a great buy and I bet that color out in the sun looks awesome. Any interior shots, etc? GLWS.
