I am assuming you tried the email in the ad- rausburn@tampabay.rr.com with no success.

There is also a rausburn@netscape.net email you might want to try. It is associated with an address in Spring hill, FL which is near Tampa.

As that ad was posted in 2006 the car is probably long gone. Maybe better off just looking for a different Greenwood car?

Keep dreaming, Their is no 1982 Daytona Corvette. 1982 only has the Crossfire with a standard base model or the Collectors Edition. If their was a Daytona it may be the color Yellow that someone painted but it's not factory as that color was not included that year. Perhaps you are thinking of the 1976 Official Pace Car from the Indianapolis 500. Good luck

yes , i am looking for that particular car, but if i could find a car with the same modification, same year, same colour, i would be happy, too!!

I drive an 82 CFI with the same colour inside and outside, but this one, with all these modifications, would be the ONE for me...

Sorry, but no real idea of how you might begin to find that car.
At the 'Corvettes at Carlisle' event in August there were several cars with Greenwood bodies on display.
If you could find the event publication it might give you a couple of names to contact for leads on wide body cars.
Maybe a start?

That's one of Eckler's build Daytonas. I love that color scheme. There was one quite similar with fixed head lights for sale in JAPAN back in 2012. That might be another lead if you have your mind made up on the color. Here's link to the 2012 add on youtube, you can find their contact details there too.


Another way is to buy a cheap 80-82 and then buy the body kit and build your own. There's also a wild custom Daytona for sale on buyavette.com and one big block yellow monster in Birmingham, AL.

Good luck with your search, I think the daytona was the ugliest vette ever made and I want one so bad...

You might also talk to Jorg at ACP euskirchen, he had a black daytona there for sale 12k euros. That car is already sold, but Jorg might have a lead on that or another Daytona in Germany. Buying one for 12k leaves you a nice margin for a color change.
