Default WTB 68-72 BB Manual C3, 18-22k [Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Corpus]

*Updated my post and increased budget a bit...

I've got my eye on one in the Northeast US so would consider other states, but would prefer Texas.

Houston and surrounding areas -

I'm not looking for a project car. Looking for a big block 4 spd. Will consider any color but yellow. Very important that the paint is in good shape and there is very little, if any (frame/birdcage) rust. Prefer clean interior, working gauges, vacuums, etc. AC, does not matter as I intend to install Vintage if it does not have it.

Must haves:
Power steering (prefer power brakes as well)
Interior, paint in good condition. 5-10 footer is OK
I am not looking for a car that has suspension, tracking issues
Engine, drivetrain in good condition
Minimal repaired body damage (and done right) if any. No visible body damage

Although nice, it doesn't need to be a numbers matching car or low miles...but commensurate with price. I'd like to be in the 18-22k range.

Thanks!

I'm willing to go 15-17k, and broadening it to 68-73 for the right car.

Not looking for anything in perfect condition and can live without some of the things that I'd prefer. I'm looking for driver quality though.

Thanks

Thanks for the offer, but I'm really looking for a '73 or older.

I was seriously considering that one, and even called you on it. I ended up buying a C7 and trading in my C6. Very nice car you have. Good luck with the sale.

Default Still Looking

Hi Wideout,

Are you still looking? I'm in Austin and have a big block 1972 coupe, 4 speed, numbers matching block and transmission, A/C, power steering/brakes/windows, steel cities gray with a blue interior. Decent paint and the cleanest birdcage I've seen (which is why I bought it...was tired of looking at cars with rust). I'm looking for $21k. If you are interested, let me know and I'll get some pictures up.

Thanks,
Martin
