1974 L82 4-speed matching numbers project car
Up for sale is my 1974 Corvette project car. Selling because I've decided to concentrate on my other project. Located in Lockport, IL.
This is an L82 matching numbers engine with factory 4-speed. Originally Silver / Silver, which was apparently a pretty rare color combo for the year. When I bought this it had been sitting for a couple years, and the previous owner had the carb rebuilt and got the car started before selling it to me. I haven't run it since but the engine turns free.
Original front clip had bumper damage and some cracking on the fender, so I replaced the whole front clip with one from a '75. Right now it's just bolted onto the frame - this should be pretty obvious in the pictures. I bought a pair of aftermaket rear bumper covers, appearance correct for the year. These are also just placed on the car for pictures.
Frame appears very solid. Interior was in very bad shape so I removed all of it. I still have all the pieces. Additional pics on request, and I'll answer any questions I can about the car. This is going on eBay in a week or so, but I thought I'd offer it here first.
$4000/obo or trade for 68-72 parts of equal value
