F/s: 1970 corvette lt-1 original owner
I bought this '70 Vette 45 years ago and I have driven it 45,000 actual miles. I'm the original owner and it has always been garaged. It is a true survivor with original paint and nearly everything else. I'm selling it because I only drive it two or three times a year during the Dream Cruise week. It's also getting harder and harder to get in and out of it.
The car came with (and still has) the following options;
- LT-1 engine 350 - 370HP small block
- 4 speed close ratio
- 3.7 positraction rear end
- E21 glass
- AM FM radio
- White letter tires ( new tires have less than 300 miles)
- Tilt Telescopic wheel
- Power steering (added)
- Cortez silver with black interior
Original parts that are included but not installed are;
- Air pump, hoses, brackets and pulleys
- Ignition shielding and bolts
- Antenna
- T top storage bags
Everything has the correct serial numbers. Documentation includes the original order form, check receipt, pictures throughout the years, sales brochure and probably the tank sticker (the tank has never been down). Other notable items;
- Stainless steel brakes all around
- Transistor ignition modules were replaced with solid state modules that look identical
- Front carpet has been replaced as well as the floor mats
- It comes with a car cover
Things that don't work on the car;
- Emergency brake
- Speakers (they were somehow unhooked when I took out a rear fader and speaker box)
- Clock
I hate to sell her, but I'm sure someone else will have as much fun as I did over the years with her. I'm asking $47,750. Thanks

If I had the means we would be talking. Nice original LT-1 in the absolute best year for the LT1.

Same here. Beautiful time capsule from what I see. I need to finish the car I have been working on for 4 years before I can ever get another.

Ditto 70 was the best year for the LT1 (only year for 11:1 LT1 motor) plus a one owner survivor...but I am biased This is a rare find for someone...they are only original once. Good Luck With The Sale

The car still has the original paint. It was hit in the right side rear while in storage 30 years ago. It pushed the right rear bumper in as well as a small part of the spoiler. It was under $800 damage. The water pump and starter are original but the alternator was replaced around 1975 with a Delco standard replacement. Thanks, Rod
