1977 L82, 4 speed, 2 owner coupe
I'm offering my 1977 L82, 4 speed coupe for sale. It's all original, AC,PW,leather, alloys, etc. It has one repaint in it's original white. No body damage ever and all original panels. It has 114K for miles. I bought it from the original owner. He had parked the car for a number of years as it needed a brake job and a few other minor issues. When I purchased the car I did the following: A nice repaint in the correct color(The body was very nice with zero damage), all new weatherstripping, tires, brakes refurbished, carpet, door panels, headlight vacuum items, detailed dash, trim, engine bay, etc. New plugs, wires, fluids, etc.
Everything on this Corvette works-lights,wipers,all interior gauges, lights, original radio, even the factory alarm! The AC is intact and the fan blows, I have not attempted to charge with Freon yet.
Original glass through out.
It runs well and starts instantly. I have not driven it much as I have 8 other Corvettes. I have a California title in my name and am not a dealer-just an enthusiast. Currently, the Corvette is not California legal as the original owner added a dual exhaust system. I do have a factory Y pipe that I'll include if a California buyer wanted to return it to the single cat system. Not an issue for out of state buyers.
This 77 is a very rare car as most of you know with very few L82 4 speeds being produced. Add in the great options like power windows, alloy wheels and leather interior and this is a special 77 Corvette. Many of these have been destroyed or modified-not this one. It would be a great Corvette to take to the next level for shows, etc.
Issues? Not many. As mentioned, the AC may or may not work with a recharge. The factory seats have a few minor flaws. I have not driven the Corvette more than about 20 miles at one time so I don't know what further sorting may be needed. It really does show very well and I'm asking 16K for it. Thanks.
