Default Immaculate 81 Resto-Mod

1981 Resto-Mod Corvette.

This car is immaculate.

Every single part has been replaced or rebuilt. The A/C is all new and blows Cold. All gauges work as they should and the car never goes above 170 degrees even with the A/C on and in traffic. The car features Hooker long tube side headers with 4inch collectors. They are covered and don't burn the leg upon exiting; and they are muffled to where they sound good, but you can talk and listen to the Pioneer CD player with 4 way speakers.

This car is priced to sell at $14,999 and is better than new. You can drive it daily and enjoy it anywhere for years. It isn't so radical it isn't practical.

The vinyl decals on the side and the "Jake Corvette" racing vinyl stickers are easily removed if so desired.

It doesn't have a lot of bling because I put all the money into functionality. The car has won 16 trophies this year at various car shows.

I started another project of a 79 I'm putting a big block in and need to make room!

I have the title to transfer this car

Is the front tire diameter a lot smaller than stock? Looks like a big gap between tires and wheelwell openings.

The fronts are 17 and the backs are 18. (245/45/17 in front, 275/40/18 in rear) Stock is 15.

The wheels are from a C5 ZO6 style. The car is actually about an inch lower.

You can get the next size larger tire up front, and it will fit the wheel well better, but I'm not sure the handling will benefit. (245/55/17)

Having the car a little lower in front lets the LeMans clip work better to make the car more aerodynamic and keep the front end down.

It sits with a very slight rake. Handling is excellent. Especially with the Borgeson.
