Looking for '70-'72 (Detroit area/Midwest)
Hello Gentlemen & Ladies,
I'll be getting more serious about purchasing a '70-'72 in the spring/summer of 2016. My location is in the Detroit area, so if you're within a few hours, feel free to contact me if you'll be selling in 2016. I'm looking for the right car - one that is in nice condition, runs well, that I can enjoy for a while. It doesn't need to be perfect, but it should be free of major issues, including rust, frame or body damage, or at the bottom of a lake.
I'll also consider non-numbers matching, an LS swap, or even a project, if it's running. While I've never owned a C3, this isn't my first venture into purchasing a classic car. I've owned other early seventies muscle cars, and performed a frame off restoration. I would consider myself an educated buyer, and I've done a substantial amount of C3 research in preparation.
If your grandmother wants that old car out of the garage so she has more room for knitting accessories, and it happens to be a low mileage, pristine, triple black, big block convertible with Zora's autograph on the dash... you should probably contact me.

Just as a FYI; I met Mr. Wallace in Kissimmee in January 2015 where he had a drop dead gorgeous 69 BB. I also met Mr. Wallace at Corvettes of Carlisle where he also had another gorgeous Shark.
If Mr. Wallace says that he has a nice car; trust me; it will be.
Good luck with your search.

I don't have a 70-72, but a 1969 conv. 350/350 engine numbers match, red/black int/white top needs work, but engine is off fresh rebuild. The rebuild I put a lil more cam to get a bit more lope at that compression ratio how can you not, am I right?
Wanting to put the time in and get her right myself but time is hard to find. A can't pass up cash/carry and she can yours. Can't drive her because all four disc brake calipers need rebuilt and I haven't got there yet. Really a project car to be a driver due to bad body work at some point that tried to smooth out the wave in the back.
Please don't everyone spam me because it will be real hard to sell her and this is NOT that old lady that has the Vette in the barn story. I just thought I'd toss it out there since you're still looking.
