Default 1976 Stingray with 27k miles for sale

My 1976 corvette stingray has 27,000 original miles and is in very good condition, with a new 525 hp 383 stroker that I spent over $7000 to build. I also have the numbers matching engine stored on a stand that goes with the car. If you want more info please PM me, there are a lot of extras in the engine as well as the rest of the car. I am asking $19,500 or best reasonable offer. Please do not lowball me this is a very fast car, not a high mile L48 mid 70s smog car.

Thanks!

Frame looks great no issues at all. It still has the rust protection spray from 76. Although stickey it prevented rust from developing.

Inside is very very clean.

Id give the paint a 9.0/10. Couple of minor blenishes nothing major.

The car only "needs" one thing in my opinion and that is replacing the weather stripping on the t-tops.

If it doesent sell I will be upgrading the suspension "its old" and has a little surface rust but there is nothing wrong with it.....honestly its a very very good car.

Another question. Do the headlights still pop up with the vacuum set up?

I still have the origional AC and the lines are plugged. Needed to take it off to get the 1:5 ratio rockers and tall valve covers on. AC works great its just not on the car as of now.

ZERO issues with headlights.

The stock th350 can hang with the hp. But im not wailing on it everyday, however, I do give it a good wap every once and a while. I did have to modify the exhaust as the power would squat the rear end about 4-5in under full load. The pipes when run out the back would literally hit the plate under the rear dif. So I had it custom built with 8in race bullets that are turned down and exit in front of the rear tire. Now my wife gets mad when I run it in the garage because it ratteles her pictures on the wall...that my favorite part

If it dosent sell I will take out the trans, beef it up, paint trans, and add a stage 2 shift kit. It would be about bulletproof at that point.

Thanks everyone for the comments.

I have taken sometime to think and I decided NOT TO SELL my 76.

After all the work and time my boys and I have put into this car it would be like selling the family dog at this point.

This afternoon I found myself on the creeper ripping out the rear suspension with my son repainting the rear dif and control arms. My 4 yr old said dad please dont sell Bumblebee he hasent transformed yet...lol.

For me there is just something about a C3 especially my car that I just could never find a way to part with.

Merry Christmas hope everyone had a good one! Mine is off the market.

Bo
