Dkarr

For sale is my 1969 Red Coupe, 350/350 hp 4 speed Corvette. A full body on restoration was completed less than 24 months ago and I have over 500 pictures documenting the entire process. The suspension was completely rebuilt from the ground up (new springs, shocks, bushings, bearings, stearing box, power steering, etc), rebuilt engine, rebuilt transmission, rebuilt rear end, rebuilt trailing arms, new centerforce clutch, new headers, new 2.5" exhaust system with x pipe and flowmaster 50 series mufflers (very nice sound with very little interior resonance), fresh paint and fresh interior. Steering box, rear end and trailing arms were all professionally rebuilt by Ramadei Corvette (the best in the industry) in Connecticut. The suspension setup on the car is the VHP Street and Slalom package with performance sway bars, springs (composite mono spring in rear) and Bilstein performance shocks. Car handles incredibly well. Bird cage and frame are in great shape.

Factory options the cars has are L46 350hp motor, M20 wide ratio 4 speed, power windows, power brakes, power steering, tilt/ tele wheel, a/c and performance rear end (3.55 ratio). It's about as highly optioned small block car as you can get less leather seats.

The car looks great and drives very well. The engine was rebuilt to look completely stock but has Brodix aluminum heads, Weiand aluminum intake, solid lifter comp cam and roller rockers. Motor is making over 400 hp (happy to share full details of engine build, including build pics. Please PM me for specifics). Engine is not the original #s matching block but it is period correct and has the correct casting code for 69. The car does have numbers matching original trans, rear end and date code correct rally wheels. The engine compartment is near flawless (all correct GM hoses and factory stickers) and I always get compliments on the attention to detail at cars shows. I have over $10k invested in the suspension and driveline alone with absolute top quality parts. Receipts and build log available upon request.

The only two things that I haven't finished are charging the a/c system (all parts are there including working compressor, just needs to be charged). I can have that finished easily before the sale. The other is that the speedometer is not working. All other gauges function perfectly.

For all those who were interested in this Corvette, the gentleman who agreed to purchase the car backed out due to financing issues. The car is still available for any who are still interested. Frustrating for me but hopefully the strong interest I've seen here will help it find a good new home.

On this subject, I will no longer hold the car for any future parties without earnest money and a signed bill of sale.
