FS:1969 427 390HP 4 Speed Vert
I have a 69 427 390 4Speed convertible survivor. All original (except new gas tank and radiator and alternator) and numbers matching. Never restored. Interior is in good condition with normal wear and faded carpets. Paint has some crazing. Car is Lemans blue with blue interior. Leather seats. White soft top. I have the tank sticker and original hub caps. I am asking $37,500.
Car just turned 60K miles. Here are pictures: https://www.corvetteforum.com/g/album/3573235

In consideration of the cost to install a correct Smog system I am lowering my asking price to $35,750.

So I have had the car inspected by a prospective buyer and the value is estimated to be around $32K so I am officially dropping the price to $32,000. This was a private inspection by a professional paid for by a private party so I will not be able to share the inspection.

OK so the buyer who was looking at my car decided to buy a coupe instead. So it is still available at $32,000

The buyer is crazy. Your car at that price is good buy. Verts are more desirable than coupes in 69. The original leather seats are a great option. Your car is going to sell soon. I have a 68 Camaro that may be going, if it does I'll be looking into this one even though I already have a blue 69. This is a nice car.

So the inspector did find a few issues (appears the thermostat may be staying open), etc. Should I get as many of these fixed and keep the receipts?

So I have had my car at the Rod shop and they have replaced the thermostat, straightened a slightly bent rear strut rod, repaired the emergency brake (new pads and cable), repaired leak in gas tank (only happened when very full and was around the filler neck). The final work being done is a tune up.
This takes care of all the mechanical issues found in the inspection. All the rest of the issues are minor leaks (standard on a 47 year old car) and cosmetic.
