LS-6 (?) being offered at Leake OKC Auction
Greetings,
Just posting this for your general info. I have no affiliation to this car or auction.
A Brands Hatch Green 1971 LS-6 it set to be auctioned at the Leake Oklahoma City Auction. Search it up. I don't know how to do that link business...

According to the auction site results, this car sold for $70,000.
I say that's well bought. I am glad I wasn't at the auction. I'd probably be light a good bit of $$. Brand's ain't my color of choice at all, especially with the green interior, but for a well documented LS-6 I could look past the color.
I'll never understand why these cars don't get the love. They're awful rare. I'd be way proud to have one, more so than a tripower car.

Look at the upper radiator hose!!! Someone put it on backwards!! Then put a wrap tie around it so it wouldn't hit the alternator pulley. WTF!
Great price for what is described as a pretty original type car. Amazing.

That is a steal IF that is a REAL M22 LS6 with factory docs. The pic of the engine pad gives me no reason to believe that is its not real, missing smog pump, the hose like ED said, despite that 70k is a steal.I agree the LS6 and the LS5 are often overlooked Big Block vettes

For some reason 70-72 are unappreciated sometimes. Don't know why.

I had posted back and forth with a guy in the C-2 section on the Canadian docs. He had reviewed docs, etc. on several cars at the auction. He said the Canadian docs were legit, as were all the rest on this car. I believe him. My 65 L-78 coupe is a Canada delivery car. The guy who does the Canada docs is very good at it.
Again, I'm glad AND bummed I wasn't there.
