Default FS: 1970 LT1 Clone (427 CID)

For sale is my 1970 Red LT1 Clone Coupe. I've had this car for a little less than a year and absolutely love it. Only reason for looking into selling is because I recently found out I'll be relocating to DC for work and most likely won't have room for both my vehicles.

Vehicle is currently in Durham, NC.

Fast facts about the car:

<15,000 miles on rebuilt stroker engine

ENGINE
-Original 350 CID block, 427 CID stroker built by Janke Engines of San Antonio, TX
-Comp solid lifter cam with roller rocker assembly
-Machined and balanced crank
-4-bolt main
-H-beam rods
-Aluminum pistons
-Moroso deep oil pan with windage tray
-Dart Performance aluminum heads
-Edelbrock medium rise intake
-Holley 800 CFM 4-bbl carburetor
-MSD electronic ignition

UNDER THE HOOD
-Be-Cool aluminum radiator
-Electric fan
-Hydraulic power brake booster
-200-amp chrome alternator
-Edelbrock aluminum high flow water pump
-GM Performance Parts high flow fuel pump
-New (2015 replaced) gas tank
-Monster high torque starter
-New (2015) battery
-New (2015) belts, hoses and wires (new heat shielding on wires)
-Ceramic coated Hedman Hedders headers
-Factory correct Corvette valve covers
-Chrome air cleaner

DRIVETRAIN
-Original 4-speed swapped for Tremec 5-speed manual transmission
-Rebuilt differential

SUSPENSION
-VBP suspension kit with neoprene bushings
-VBP composite front and rear springs
-Bilstein shocks
-Updated 4-wheel disc brakes and plumbing
-VBP front A-arms
-VBP control arms

BODY
-Monza Red (repainted in 2009)
-3 minor paint blemishes (almost non-noticeable, will show in additional pictures upon request)
-New factory correct stainless steel trim
-BFG tires 255/60/15
-Updated lettering, factory correct
-Original glass throughout

ADDITIONAL
-Tilt wheel
-Black leather interior
-Insulation and carpet updated in 2015
-New dash components (2015)
-AM/FM stereo with amp and rear speaker bar, sounds great

Important to note is that this is NOT an A/C car.

The following are pictures from purchase in August 2015 and, more recently, in my graduate school's parking lot and apartment's parking garage. Weather is inclement right now, but I can easily provide more pictures upon request (as soon as weather allows me to get the car outside).

Asking $35,000, open to all offers. The performance parts on this car make it an absolute animal on the road and, again, the reason I am looking to sell is due to a relocation to DC this summer. Please either PM me or email me (since I'm a new member) at danswaim87@gmail.com with any questions or offers.

Thank you!

Was the car originally a real 1970 LT-1? or even a 1970? '72 pattern seats? 350 bored out to 427? Matching #'s No fan shroud? PS,PB? Power windows? Correct GM big block hood or repro? So many ?'s unanswered in your add. Great color!

thanks,
SW
