Default Trade?

I'd be interested in a trade.

OTE=Scarlett-73;1591630185]1973 Chevrolet Corvette, For Sale or Trade
55k miles with TH400 Automatic and 383 Stroker SBC. Specs & restored components below. Mechanically in excellent condition, Steering is very tight, the body is a 9 of 10. Paint is several years old and holding up well but has one dime sized bubble. The truth is the car shows very well so there’s really no need to repaint it yet. I have a shameful amount of money into this car. If you PM me I can provide receipts. I am asking $20,000.00 OBO. No rush to sell so low ball offers are not going to be responded to. Would consider a trade for a car of equal value prefer a manual.

Blueprint Engine
HP & Torque: 420 HP / 450 FT LBS
Compression Ratio: 10.0:1
Aluminum Heads
Hypereutectic Pistons
Flat Tappet Cam

Block:
4 bolt main 1pc rear seal block w/Passenger side dipstick only

Ignition Timing:
34 degrees total at 3500 RPM

Flat top hypereutectic pistons
Chevy heavy beam rods with 150,000 psi bolts
Hastings Moly rings

I too have spent a terrifying amount on my car.
This is an exact twin of the first car I ever owned when I was 16.
It's a barn find and I went crazy restoring it. Has never been monkeyed with. All there just like from the factory. Museum piece.
Looking to trade for a really special C-2 or C-3.

Hi Mark,
Original 383 335 hp motor that appears to have been rebuilt at some point. Light cam. Original tranny with hurst 4spd. Not sure what the rear end is. Very torquey.
Everything is original though.

If you are ready to move on (and it sounds like you are) don't start adding up all the receipts. If your offer is solid and fair sell it. The reality is most of us often invest more in our cars than the current market will allow you to recover. Only you can decide if you really want to sell the car but it is never easy to be compensated for everything one does to their car especially if it isn't a rare car.

Yes, I agree with you,...I'm well aware that I've put a lot more into it than I ever hope to get out of it. But just the same I will miss bringing a modernized classic (in my opinion) to car shows,....

If I was Vette-less right now...I would have bought yours in a hot minute.
The attention to detail and stance is outstanding....
