Default FS 1968 Convertible, VT

1968 Corvette Convertible, British Green, repainted original color, by PO around 2007-8. New Seats, carpet and tan soft top then also. 1969 type side pipes (installed 2013)- (rear exhaust panel replaced), and 1969 gill inserts installed. Newer vacuum hoses-headlights, wiper door, and wipers work (new motor). Odometer and windshield washer do not work. Heater - defroster blower motor works. Since 2012: Front semi coil over suspension with new springs and QA-1 shocks. New control arms. Rebuilt steering box. Front shock tower spreader bar. New brake discs, and pads- all 4 wheels. “SharkBite” independent rear suspension. QA-1 shocks in back. New rear adjustable strut rods. Car lowered about two inches. 18 inch rims 8" wide front, 9 1/2" wide rear. Chrome roll bar with Shroth 4 point seat/shoulder belts. Almost new tires. New high torque starter built into original starter case.
327 Cu. In. block with correct date code stamping, but it has been decked so engine serial number was removed- not a #s matching car. New Holly carb. Original Rochester carb goes with car. 4 speed trans with 3:55 posi-rear. Have 4- 8" wide x 15 inch rally wheels, and chrome wheel rings and hubcaps that go with car. Extra set of control arms, stock rear strut rods, spare tire carrier, rocker panel trim pieces, miscellaneous spares, and newer original type shocks also go with car. Great driver, drive in, and local show car. I have about 1/3 to 1/2 of original tank sticker for the car. Also, pics of PO’s restoration of car. $26K, ONO

It looks great. Maybe im interested in but only if you are disposed to come to an agreement in price.
I had a budget..but.. if car worth, maybe i could increase it.. I don't know.
It would be fantastic to see more photos if its possible.

To clarify, engine block is a 1968 casting- #3914678. Block was decked so engine# was removed at some point by p.o.

oh thanks, nice car. In the second photo I can see some spots on the cardboard on the floor. Is the car loosing some fluids like oil, water etc? maybe the cardboard had been stained before.. i don't know.

I repeat, i think is a nice car. so...Do you want to talk about it?

JJmais: The tail shaft of the trans drips only a bit.
The cardboard has been under the car for more then a year. the car moves the cardboard moves. The engine has no oil leaks. Replaced the oil pan last fall. The inside of the bell housing is bone dry.

I think is time to talk about price and come to an agreement.
Please, write me back when you are ready to talk about this.

very nice car looks to be an early 68 to boot. You could only get a rag top in early 68 plus it appears to be the mighty 327 350 4spd car.
