Default 1980 Project $3,700

This has been a project car for me for over 15 years and is still a work in progress. It has been roughly 8 years since the car has been started or on the road but has been garage stored. I tried starting it about 5 years ago without success due to no spark at the plugs. I have a new coil in the box that will come with the car. At the moment the interior is somewhat disassembled however the car is complete. Over the years I have replaced the original 350 with a crate 350, re-geared the read end to 3.73, replaced the rear leaf spring with a fiberglass composite spring, replaced the vacuum hoses, and performed little fixes here and there. The last things I did just before parking the car was to replace the engine and all 4 tires so both basically have no miles on them. If you're looking for a C3 project this is a good one to take on.

$3,700

Damn...interior is pretty decent too....ughhh. I just bought two truck as flips and a 240z project, so my excess is tapped. I have an LQ9 LS motor I really want to put in a C3. Nice lookin project overall. I have a guy that ships all around pretty affordable...that's still an 800.00 bill to go anywhere substantial though.

Yes back in the day when I was actively working on the car I replaced the carpet, seat covers (leather inset), dash, door panels, fixed the clock and converted the speedo to 140mph.

What crate engine did you install? Whats the Horse Power rating of it? What city and State is the car located? I live in Baton Rouge, La. I bought a 82 Corvette from Elkton, Maryland, The underside of it looks like he only Drove it in snow storms and the after math when the road was full of salt for 35 years! It needs everything! Thats what i get for buying sight unseen! Is the car in Keller, Tx? Thanks for your reply roberd07!

I pulled the paperwork that was provided by the engine builder (fivestarengines.com) and I don't have anything that provides the stated horsepower. The invoice shows that I purchased the 350 on 5/04/07 and if memory serves me correctly it was somewhere around 300hp. The engine is practically brand new as I only drove the vehicle around my block a few times while i was adjusting the timing and carb. I moved about 6 months after installing the engine and it's been in my garage ever since.

Yes the car is located in Keller TX.
