On offer today is my: 1969 corvette 2-top convertible . It is an original paint (gold/black top) 1 owner (before me) 31 k orig mile car.. Have all the paper work and orig bill of sale.. This car has never been titled! Original owner was a dealer and had purchased it as a gift for his wife. After sitting for several years unused. it was re-commissioned.. That's the unfortunate part ! The original tires, brake calipers, master cylinder , hoses , exhaust ect.. were replaced with quality repro parts. All the original parts were discarded ! Its just a base 300hp-4-speed -2 top am/fm radio car.. No p/s or brakes either .. Real nice paint and interior.. A little scuff here and there but really nice ! Run and drives like a 31 k car should.. I am the long time owner of my c2 and also own the c6 I bought new.. I'm no expert and always willing to learn ! I will try to post some pictures soon . I will e mail what pictures I have to a member here and maybe some one could post them for me...This car is located I New Milford ct.. After 39yrs in the car business I know that anyone interested in this car will want to see it , drive it and have it inspected.. I would.. I will not sell the car to anyone sight unseen. I'm asking 38k . Call me at 860-354-4461(shop) or 203-788-1745 (cell) Thank you corvette forum fore the ad....Best regards to the corvette community.... Frank.

Are you available tomorrow to have a conversation about your Vette? I see that you will consider a trade.

Frank,

Would like to have a conversation with you. Did you get your Vette Titled? You asked Dave in a prior post if he would be interested in your Vette @ $35K.

Would you have some time tomorrow to have a conversation?

Thanks,

Lee Ward

Frank, not sure if you got my reply from my cell? When are you anticipating have the Title in hand? I have been looking for a 68-71 #'s Matching 4-Spd car for some time. I currently own both a 67 Camaro RS and 81 C3 Corvette. I have found two other 68's that are both 327 L79 4-Spd Convertibles. One is an all original survivor with original paint (51K miles) and the other an un-restored with 37K miles with a re-paint. Both of these cars have both PS and PB's. I am looking to make an offer on my #1 choice by the end of this week so it would be helpful to know if and when you plan to have your Vette titled.

Thanks,

Lee Ward

Good morning Lee , Connecticut has just allowed titles to be issued to vehicles over 20 years old, we were a "bill of sale only" state prior to this law change. I am a Connecticut dealer and will issues a title in the new owners name.. Please call me or use my company email (connauto@sbcglobal.net ) As I do not check this forum as often as I should... I like your automotive taste .. Both in what you own and plan to own ! Frank.

Frank, your Vette is really a stunning survivor. Though I was not looking for another survivor yours caught my eye big time. If I were to buy it I would leave it alone and not do a thing to it. Leave it unmolested and unrestored as it should be. That being said I am not sure about the car not having a title. this will take some research on my part or some additional convincing. I cannot Insure or Register the car without a Title in hand.

Thanks,

Lee

Lee., The car will be titled in your name (or who ever buys it) before I cash the check ! I am a ct. licensed dealer.. #U7071.. I have been in business since 1978.. Corvettes and All vintage cars are a hobby, not a living, my full service shop and late model sales provide that. I wish you luck with your next purchase. Regards Frank.

Would you be able to post pics of the interior please? Maybe a youtube clip of a cold start and revving? I'm not sure I am in the ballpark (will PM with some trade options) but I'm sure the interior and engine sound would help in general.

Sorry about the late reply ! I will try to move the car this weekend , take some pictures and consider a try on e-bay.. Its a nice car, I just don't need another corvette.. Not in a hurry to sell, just seems like a waste to leave it in my warehouse for another decade or two..

Lotta tire kickers here, but.......posting some pics of engine & interior & undercarriage might help speed things up

The original tires, brake calipers, master cylinder , hoses , exhaust ect.. were replaced with quality repro parts. All the original parts were discarded !

Thanks for the interest.. car is currently registered in my name.. It will be sold 9/30/16 at Carlisle auctions in Carlisle PA. If anyone on this forum has any "real" interest I suggest they register to bid... I'm not new to the auction world and have a 100% sale rate ! It really is a nice car! Many Thanks to this forum for the free ad. This is a very knowledgeable board.. I learned a lot about c3's in general...
Best regards to all... Frank
