I have been thoroughly entertained and awestruck by the amount of painstaking work/labor of love this '72 has turned out to be.
I briefly had a '72 Steel-Cities gray auto coupe that I had for roughly 3 weeks, back in 1990 at Ft. Hood. When I found out I was getting deployed to the Middle East, I needed to sell it, and to this day, I still regret selling it but, it was the smart choice, because I ended up being gone for a long time.
Your '72 is just too sweet for words, and a vision of similarity I had hoped for what I owned back then. It's out of my price range what I'm willing to spend for a C3 but, clearly understand and appreciate what you are selling it for.
Good luck to you on the sale, someone is going to get a real sweetheart of a car.

Finally got warm enough to use the A/C up here in the northeast.
converted the factory A/c over to R134A and replaced the stock A-6 compressor for a new aluminium Pro6ten compressor and upgraded and added an additional ground wire plus I also upgraded the blower motor and fan to a longer barrel with more blades and steeper pitch on the blades. to use the bigger fan barrel requires a 3/4" spacer between the blower motor housing and the fan phlenum. all of that resulted in 50 degree air out the vents.

Are you still firm at $40K?

I can not believe this has not sold! The paint work you did is easily worth $25k! Your car is outstanding, and the right person is going to get a great car! GLWS

Still can't believe it but Fall weather is here up in the North East but the days are still warm enough to use the ICE COLD A/C for those nice sunny days that are still in the 80's

try ebay look for overseas buyers its too much for them to ship parts & build one
I get the same crap about mine. Sure its priced high but a certain level of build just goes for more thats the way it is. Its really up to you.
Beautiful ride, silver/gray outside black has to be the best C3 color ever.
