Default 1977 Corvette C3 Survivor

1977 Chevrolet Corvette Survivor - $7,900 or best offer

I bought this Corvette recently from the original owner to use as a recreational driver. I took it to my mechanic to see what things it might need. After giving it a thorough look, he told me that I should sell this one as-is then buy another to use as a driver. He said the car is almost completely original and is probably better for someone who might want to keep it that way.

The engine appears almost completely original. I just had the fuel pump replaced because the original was leaking (still have original), one radiator hose has been replaced, and some of the factory aluminum brake parts were replaced with stainless. The tires are probably not original and are very old. The spare tire still has the sticker attached. The interior is in excellent original condition. The leather seats show only very minor wear. The carpet on the floors and back hatch is near perfect condition. The glass appears to be original. The paint is in very nice condition with some minor chips. It appears that there has been some paint work as shown in the pictures but the car has no signs of major damage. The rear bumper cover has been replaced and needs replacing again. The car starts, runs, drives, shifts and stops perfectly. I drove it confidently for over 100 miles until I found out the age of the tires!

The interior photos appear to show a brushed aluminum horn button.
These are extremely rare due to a recall.
See the thread from several years ago.

Good luck with your sale from a fellow '77 owner!

the cruise control is a one year only on some the parts, hope it is just a servo problem not a throttle cable broken. could just be a brake switch needs adjusting.

Based on some feedback from the experts in this forum, I've reduced my asking price to $7,900.

Price reduced to $7,900. I could really use the garage space.

And no thanks to the dually, my wife would make me sleep in it!
