F/S 1972 Corvette 350 4spd T-Tops (Calgary, Canada)
Up for sale is a very nice clean driver quality 1972 Corvette in War Bonnet Yellow with Saddle leather interior. It is a confirmed numbers matching ZQ3 350 V8 engine block and transmission. It is a CKW engine, carb and transmission combination, although the carb is not believed to be original. The motor was partially rebuilt, and a new clutch installed approximately three years ago. Birdcage and frame are clean.
This is a great looking car that turns heads and gets attention wherever it goes. If you are shy, this isn’t for you; people stop you to talk at every stoplight and parking lot you drive to!
The car shows very well, besides a few rock chips due to the older repaint; and looks great with Rally (complete with all trim rings) wrapped in newer BF Goodrich T/A Radial tires, and the chrome luggage rack.
T-tops are in great shape, and come complete with the vinyl covers for storage behind the seats.
All gauges work in the car, the odometer currently shows ~63,200 miles (this may go up slightly as I drive it once weekly). Much of the interior is original and clean, with newer saddle leather seat covers.
The vacuum system is in good shape, no issues with raising and lowering the headlights, or with the cowl for the hidden windshield wipers. 1972 was the last year of the chrome front and rear bumpers, and the removable rear window.
I have the vehicle history report which shows no accident history or lien records. The history begins in West Fargo ND in 1996, moves through to Minnesota in 1999, imported to Manitoba, Canada and then to Calgary, Alberta where it now resides in 2007. As this is originally a US car, and over 25 years old it is no issue to re-import back to the US.
This was my childhood dream car, and one I had planned to keep for a very long time. I am a serious seller looking for a serious buyer. I have had a business opportunity come up, that is worth sacrificing my toy for, my loss is your gain!
