81 project car 90% done Black/Tan interior
This is my project car over the last 10 years, never finished it due to finances and work. I need to move and no idea where so it needs to go.
Its an 81 with all the original CCC system still functional.
Body work is done, it is Black with gold pearl, painted 2 years ago. My body guy did a nice job on it. The fiberglass bumpers are molded in L88 Hood and it looks great.
I did a frame off, frame is solid. I built a 200-4R, Edlebrock dual plane intake, new cam, lifters, pushrods, lots of custom work under the hood.
Suspension is done except for shims and alignment, lots of new parts.
Need interior put back together, new carpet would be good because there is rust on part of it. I never got to painting the interior plastics but have the paint.
Needs plumbing installed for the AC and a little electrical under the hood.
I need $4000

I'm extremely interested. I'm in New Orleans, so I'd need the car shipped, but that's right in my budget as long as someone local would be able to do an inspection for me. I'd love some pictures!

I realize I'm a new forum member, and I totally understand if you'd rather sell to someone who has been around here for a while, but I've been looking for something like this for quite a while and I would love to continue your project through to completion. I don't have private messaging privileges yet, but let me know how best to reach you and I'd love to talk details.

Hi g,
I believe every member has the ability to send and receive Private Messages from the time they first register for Corvette Forum.
Have you tried to send one to SF?
Just click on his screen name and in the drop down that appears click on "Send a Private Message"…. and off you go!
Regards,
Alan

Hey Alan - I've sent my fair share of PM's on other forums, but for whatever reason I don't have the option to send one on here - when I go to send one it says I don't have permission to access that page. In any case, I'd love to get in touch with SIXFOOTER, feel free to email me at geeftones@gmail.com
