F/S 1969 350/350 4-Speed Convertible Restoration Project
My father-in-law had just powder coated the frame black, rebuilt the 350hp/350ci engine, bought new tires, and put together the rolling chassis when cancer took him. Please understand that I am not the owner but she has asked me to help sell it and forum staff gave permission. He had restored many Corvettes and knew how to source parts so most all of the chrome trim exterior and interior are sitting in brand new NOS boxes. The car also comes with side pipes. All that's needed parts wise are a convertible top and fuel line, I did find a door card and steering wheel but I assume you will choose to replace some of the soft pieces of the (B6) Bright Blue interior. Since taking these pictures I bought a new camera and will try to represent the car better. The LeMans Blue body was sitting on the rolling chassis so it was easier to show the bits of damage here and there. It was also sitting in a pretty nice car trailer that's also for sale. It's a fairly fun and easy job to finish the car from here on out and we are never located more than 1000 miles from anyone in the states. Send me a message (erufle) and I'll put you in touch with the owner who lives just two miles west of Wichita, Kansas and you may go home with the trailer and car. The car is priced at $13,000 o.b.o. It's important to the owner that the buyer intends to restore the car to factory specs since so much time was spent finding part, and I do believe it's all numbers matching.

Guys, I know the pictures are not much but believe me the rolling chassis is finished and outstanding. Herb Hanson was a Corvette restoration expert. It would be an honor to finish this retired Air Force pilot instructor's last project. Drive in, shoot his wife any reasonable price and you don't even have to worry about loading it on a trailer because it already is. The weather here is still in the 60's. Come on in and see the town that once was home to 40 aircraft manufacturer's. The B29 was built here in Wichita. Stop by Dodge City, there are casinos there and just south of Wichita. If somebody doesn't scoop this up I'm gonna have too many Corvette jobs.

Hi e,
A buyer would likely want to see a photo showing the VIN tag on the driver's side windshield pillar and another showing the pad on the engine block just forward of the right side head where the assembly information of the engine was stamped at Flint and the car's VIN derivative that the engine was installed in at St.Louis was stamped.
Knowing those things might help buyers determine this car's potential.
In your first photo the front clip appears to be loose from the cowl?
Is it?
Was it removed to do some rust repair on the birdcage?
Regards,
Alan

Yes, I know. The problem is I have a hard time getting around. I think if you talk with the seller direct you might get more info. My job is putting you in touch with her.
