Default 1981 Corvette for sale

1981 Bowling Green produced Corvette for sale. 4-speed manual transmission with Tee tops. Car was first titled to an auto dealer in Aug 1981 and he held it for eight years hoping it would appreciate in value. In Sep 1989 the dealer needed money and my friend convinced him to sell it with 875 miles on the odometer. My friend kept it garaged and drove occasionally until May 2013 when he sold it to me with 20,275 miles on odometer. I have also kept it garaged, drive it sparingly, and total miles on it now is 22,973.
Car is two-tone gray, red interior, and four speed manual 190-horsepower "L81" version of the 350 V8 . I have copies of ownership history, all service records to the car and all the original parts and equipment. I have two sets of T tops (matching gray and smoked glass).

I've got the bug for a new Vette but only have garage space for one.

Known issues:
The power antenna stopped working. I bought a new one but didn’t get around to installing yet.
Emissions check engine light came on last year. I bought a trouble code reader and it reads as an EGR error code. I replaced the EGR valve but light remains on. I bought a used EGR solenoid from a guy on this Forum but have not tried to replace it.
Molding on the smoked glass tops will need replaced as it has become rigid and slightly deformed from non use.

Great looking car and fun to drive. $14,000 (negotiable).
If interested send me a message for pics and to answer any questions bulldog.simpson@gmail.com

Must be my reply was deleted.

Any pictures? The car sounds great and an 81 4 speed is my next Corvette. Im sick of newer ones.

The engine, if original, is the L81, which is not 350 horse power.

Yo, bro. I find out my bonus in a few weeks.

I wanted a black on black 1981 4-speed but I'm digging this car. One other car is on my radar, C4 ZR1, but thinking to stay with the 81.
