I may have the correct block for your car. B-'72 casting 4 bolt mains with steel crank. Standard bore CE block, tanked and clean. Was for my '72 LT-1 coupe long since sold. Dry heated storage for 10 years at least.

Default vette

Hi Stan, that looks like a real nice project. The condition of the frame okay? Does it run? I really would be interested in knowing.
Thanks

Looks like a nice project that will not be up-side down in money when it's finished.

F4Gary--interesting statement. I've never seen that cited before. May I ask where you found that info?
Thanks,
Mike

Must resist, must resist.

Please tell me you're in the extreme northwest corner of PA and no where near Philadelphia.

Nice project!

Just by percentages. Mine was originally white also.

There was an engineer selling his red LT-1 a/c convertible on here a few years ago and stated it was 1 of 5. I too asked how he knew that and he went through the percentages. Basically they made 57 LT-1 a/c convertibles, and 10% of corvettes were white, so that comes out to 6 (5.7) white LT-1 a/c convertibles.

I'll see if I can find that email. I did print it out and have a copy in the my car.
