Loking to buy a C3 Corvette (matching) in the NY Tristate area
Hello new here so be gentle!!!
I'm in search of a 1968-1972 Corvette close to the NEW York Tristate area with original setup with matching engine, transmission and rear end.
Prefer A/C and Manual transmission.
Doesn't need to be a perfect restoration but needs to be running, original and complete as realistic!!!!!!
Budget is $20K but may go up if the car has a great setup.
Opinions suggestions very welcomed!!
Thanks Ike

Hey all look what followed me home over the weekend.............
1972 Ontario Orange out of Connecticut all matching!!
If the picture looks familiar it is from the C3 sales ad from the forum. (thanks Mike!!!) lots of questions to ask to try to get some of the minor non original components corrected.
But work is going to get in the way for all while. So to be continued!!!!!!
Still consider other cars however!!!
Thanks again all Ike

David It is a thought. I actually was at a shop, looking at another 72 Vette, that has a Chevelle with the system being installed. It was basically all under the dash except for the hoses and the compressor.
My problem is that I am a "Original" person, so not sure if I want to alter that.
Will you be posting the install on the forum? I would love to follow you thru the install
Thanks Ike

My 71 Sparty was working to make the car close to the original in design and style, this one is me now having some fun with modifications.
I am about to lift the body for a second time to redo my fuel lines (need both 3/8" for fuel injection) and to finalize my roll bar on my 1972 Road Race Replica. I will be getting to the Vintage Air System soon.
Thank you and best regards,
David Howard
