FOR SALE: 1968 L89 Aluminum head 427/ 435hp Red Corvette
Super Rare 1968 Corvette 427/435hp L89 (factory aluminum heads)
This is one rare piece of Corvette history. This is a factory Rally Red car with factory red interior. It has a 100% #s matching drivetrain. It’s options are: 427 / 435hp (tri-power) L89 engine with factory aluminum heads, Close ration 4 speed transmission, posi-trac 3:55 rear axle, special off road exhaust, AM/FM Radio, power windows, incredibly rare shoulder belts, power 4 wheel disc brakes, tinted glass, full transistor ignition, etc. This is a NCRS top flight award winner as well as a Bloomington Gold winner. It was also a feature car in an issue of Corvette Fever magazine and shown on the cover. The documentation is very impressive. It comes with the following: original invoice, original tank sticker, sheet with break down on all drive train component, NCRS top flight award, Bloomington Gold award, all the judging sheets, issue of Corvette Fever it was in, every receipt (hundreds) from the every nut and bolt frame off restoration, photos of restoration, and copies of all titles showing all owners from current all the way back to when it was sold new!!!!!!! The car was sold new at Nuzum-Cross Chevrolet, Inc. in Newton, North Carolina. If that dealership name does not ring a bell, that is because it was sold and became Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet. The car has spent 95% of its life in North Carolina. I have plenty of photos to e-mail to any interested parties.
