Boost is very inconsistent, drives normal and idles well at low RPM boost varies greatly under full throttle

Thoughts?

Plugged Cats?
Fueling?

Definately no leaks, I noticed boost built better as it warmed up

How are the wastegates being controlled? Manual boost controller or simple spring actuators that open at some fixed pressure?

Wouldn't be too difficult to program a 3d tps% vs rpm based boost controller into the existing ecm software and use an off the shelf boost control solenoid if you want to integrate the boost control. That's what I would do if I had a turbo.

WG solenoid control code is already done...Just need some hardware to play with now.

Got it on ebay, turns out its one of four prototypes for an experimental 1LE Camaro(It also had to clear the Corvette hood as part of the design requirements)....they scrapped it as the LT-1 was coming in a few years. Spoke to the designer, Jim McFarland, and he was shocked I had it as GM kept the project quiet.....said it flows very very well and on a stock TPI would have produced well in excess of 300hp

The guy I bought it from makes custom intakes and said it outflows his stuff

How are you coming with sorting your boost fluctuation issues. Can you tell us a little about the turbos and wastegate setup, internally or externally gated? may be bad actuators or seized flapper pin, may also be holes in the reference hoses etc.. could be many things.. give us some more details.

I changed fuel pumps, filter, and now adding in a remote fuel pressure regulator. Will have more updates in a few weeks.
