Hi ! For that year car I use TunerCat RT and 8D or 8DVE (extended spark and VE tables).
So I'm not sure what you mean by $D by Moates ?
No matter what I do is lock it into open loop (raise coolant temp) for set-up and tuning. First thing is after overnight check sensors. Then using your scan tool or DataMaster or whatever watch engine warmup and set FI constant to achieve say 14:1 at a hot idle. Then you can allow closed loop at idle and check the BLM's which if ideal = 128 but +/- 10 is fine. Also you should be using a 4WO2, especially with coated headers. greg
