Hi my name is Peter and I am a Callaway owner. I am talking with Callaway Cars to get the UPGRADED WONDERBAR produced for callaway ownersThe price is $1990 for the upgraded unit .I am not making anything on these I am doing this to keep the Callaway Twin Turbo Era alive and trying to get more horsepower out of these cars. Ok, I know what a wonderbra is, but what is a wonderbar? :confused: It sounds like something I would use instead of a torque wrench, but I'm guessing thats not it.

air intake bridge thing for the callaways.

the air enters the air filter, goes through the frame piece (the wonderbar) and then to the turbos.

This is the mod that allowed SurfnSun's 88 Callaway Twin Turbo to put down 406hp to the rear wheels :eek: and an ungodly amount of torque :thumbs:

Well worth the money - If you know someone with a Callaway Twin Turbo Corvette, this is the best thing you can do to it for more power and it is a Callaway authorized upgrade :cheers:

Is this basically like a MacroFueler, it has extra injectors that come in under boost. I had that on my last blower from Carrolls.

No it has nothing to do with the Microfueler. It is a redesigned air intake system for the Turbo's . More air is more power. It frees up the restrictive airflow through the front crossmember. A real power adder Surf nSun has one on his car and he pulled 406 rwhp :auto:

Yea the Microfueler™ is the small cpu that runs the supplemental injectors on the front of the "rams horn" intake.

Also, my dyno numbers were gained in 85 degree weather with very hot intercoolers. I plan on going back to Mike's hear pretty soon, hopefully we'll get some better numbers with cooler intercoolers.

Peter, Thanks for doing this for all Callaway Owners - This is the air inlet that feeds the turbos - it is much larger and the "elbow" has a different radius & design for higher flow -vs- the original (cast) one :thumbs: :steering: :hurray:

very impressive, it has somewhat of a "sleeper look" doesnt look like a monster till u pop the hood. Very nice :cool:

SurfNSun the one I had was called a Macrofueler not Microfueler. It came from what used to be Carroll Supercharging. So this thing is a 2 grand air intake. :eek: Did the later models eventually get this or was this designed after production runs? Or did this just not meet GM's requirements of some sort?

All the 91s recieved this Wonderbar design. The hp rating went from 382 to 403....maybe they meant that as a rwhp rating :D :cool: :jester

Surf the 91's had a different stlye wonderbar it was a top feed unit not a side feed unit like ours.I read somewhere in Callaway literature the upgrade delivers 418 hp.Not to bad :auto:

Yea I was referring to the openness of the front frame rail....airfilter position aside. :thumbs: Yea I had seen it advertised as 420hp with the upgrade. Whatever it is, I like it :D
