convince me i need a R-D Cross Bar
end of GP getting close.....
the camber brace made a huge difference in the front-end floppiness. will i experience similar significant results with the Cross Bar?

Does your car squeak at all when you enter a driveway on a diagonal angle? Mine did and the cross bar really helped with this. It's not the sound that bothered me but the realization that this chassis flexing was taking place during all phases of driving. Also I have less flexing when I take the top out - more evidence that the cross bar is doing its job. It also looks cool! That's my 2 cents worth.

I installed my cross bar before I had the camber brace. I could tell a noticeable difference in cornering stability.

Awesome add-on!! I swapped out my Exotic Muscle Harness Bar for one of Dave's creations and I dont' regret it one bit!!
Maybe this'll help convince you! Pardon the mess, at the time of these shots, the interior was still in progress.
Doesn't interfere with the top storage:
And toss in Dave's incredible customer support & you will be all set!!!

Not sure why, but I ordered mine yesterday.......talked to Dave....they sound like real good people.....go for the full setup of harness if you plan on autocross....I am only doing the crossbar..

Bought mine in the GP with the 5-pt harness and extinguisher mount. It also gave me a mounting point for a video camera.
Installation was very straight-foreward. Only problem was the Torx bolts for the shoulder belts. Spec is, I think, T47 or T48... some wierd size I didn't have and wasn't gonna buy. I used a T45 and it worked great.
BTW... when I called and ordered, I actually caught Dave driving somewhere. He had me hold on a moment while he pulled over to the side to get my info and talk me through the purchase process. Great guy.
Hope this helps.

There are 3 reasons why I got rid of my Hardbar and went to a RD Crossbar. The Hardbar mounts higher and block some of your rearward vision, the Hardbard limits rearward seat travel or reclining, and I also didn't like the way the stock seatbelts mounted to the Hardbar. RD bar didn't have these problems. In the Hardbar's favor, I thought it looked better and was probably stronger in design, and would be better for a track only car.

I removed the camber brace when I moved to the Northeast because it makes the ride too harsh on crappy roads.

Before I installed Dave's cross-bar, my vert would wobble a little when I hit bumps or uneven payment. After installing the cross-bar, the wobble is gone. Then I installed the camber-brace and the outer edges of my tires don't wear as much. It feels firmer in the turns. These items make your C4 SOOOOO much better in Auto-Xing. Do it, Just do it.
