HELP...Does anyone recognize the manufacturer of this rear spoiler?
Guys...need your help. The picture below is taken from the May '94 issue of Corvette Fever...its of a 1985 Coupe thats listed as belonging to a Craig Pai. The hop up work (nitro etc) which is what the feature was all about, was done by ASSC (American Sportscar Service Center) in Highland Park, Illinois. What I am interested in is the rear spoiler in this picture...its about the only C4 spoiler I have ever seen that I could even think of putting on my '87. But I have no idea who made it. Do any of you all out there recognize who made this spoiler? It reminds me of the small spoiler that came on the very early 70's Camaro Z28's. Thanks in advance for your help.

What your looking at right there is RARE if it's original. I'd have to see it from the front to be sure, but there actually was a spoiler offered for C4 Corvettes. It was designed for the IMSA racing program. It was dealer installed, but they stopped making them after the 1988 racing season ended Nice find!

Thanks for the feedback so far....but I dont think its a Vanacor...checked their site and the GTO rear spoiler is much higher and extends down the sides. In fact, as I recall the IMSA Chevy spoiler package which was official GM and installed thru the dealers as noted above, that spoiler (the IMSA) is very close to the Vanacor GTO. For some reason I am thinking old Callaway, but not sure. Anyone else have any clues?

not sure who made that spoiler - One thing I DO know, it is NOT any of the GTO Styled rear spoilers - not from GM or any knockoffs

Could that be from the Corvette Geneve from 87-88( cant remember which year)? I havent seen pics of one in ages. I also remember it having a rear diffuser. But cant remeber exactly what it looked like.

Hi, I know this is an older post but I just found it and I believe I may have the car you were talking about. I can't find the picture you mentioned on here but I just bought a 1985 Corvette that was supposed to have been built by Craig Pai of ASSC. It does still have a small spoiler on it that looks a lot like the spoiler I had on my IROC back in the 80s. It is electric blue and has many of the parts I have heard his had. The guy I bought it from removed the writing from the windows that I was told it used to have. I have pictures if anyone wants to see them. Thanks!
