Voyage to Vegas: 10 Days and Counting
- You've seen the sticky post advertising the Corvettes Against Breast Cancer Ride: Voyage to Vegas
- You think this is an awesome idea
- You want to know more
Here’s what’s going on…
*The CSA Foundation and MTI Racing (Atlanta) are sponsoring a breast cancer charity drive entitled Corvettes Against Breast Cancer Ride: Voyage to Vegas.
*We are raising funds to support two breast cancer survivor groups
- The National Breast Cancer Foundation
- The Wellness Community
*Our goals are to raise awareness, foster camaraderie and raise funds for breast cancer research, patient services, education and advocacy.
*Dates: May 26th through June 5th 2005
*On May 26th, a caravan of Corvettes will be launched from Atlanta’s state capitol building.
- The first stop on the Voyage will be at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
- From there we will continue on making stops in Oklahoma City, OK, and Albuquerque, NM
*May 29, 2005 final stop in Las Vegas, NV.
Activities while in Vegas
May 29, 2005 – Sunday
6:00 pm - Check in to respective hotels
7:30 pm - Meet and Greet at BigBadOrange's Place (Vegas CF member)
May 30, 2005 – Monday
11:00 am – Kickoff / BBQ at Saturn of Henderson
- BBQ Meet and Greet
- Voyage to Vegas Group Photo Shoot
- Wellness Community Presentation
2:00 pm – Caravan to Hoover Dam / Hoover Dam Tour
May 31, 2005 – Tuesday
9:00 am – Caravan to Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch
- Facility Tour
- Talk with instructors
- Parade Laps at the Track (guided by one of the instructors)
- Red Rock Canyon Tour (time permitting)
June 1, 2005 – Wednesday

June 2, 2005 – Thursday
10:00 am - Depart Las Vegas
