Code 26 and 32 troubleshooting help
Given: I have a factory service manual
I am a do-it-yourselfer.
This forum has always helped me.
Where is the EDV solenoid? I can’t find it.
Code 26 is linked to the following areas
A) Canister Purge Solenoid
B) EGR Solenoid
C) A.I.R. Relay
D) EDV solenoid
Code 32 is linked to following areas
a) EGR Solenoid
b) EGR Valve
The commonality is EGR components. I will troubleshoot this area first.

we discussed this yesterday, so you should have kept that thread alive. By doing so, you keep the common information together.
Year? 1992, isn't it? You must put that into each post... These codes change from year to year.
I asked then about the EGR, does the SES light come on immediately or after driving? If it's immediate, it's the EGR solenoid, if it takes 20 minutes, it's the valve. Simple.
I would think that the common ground here is the EGR soleniod.

Going forward I will link all of this back to the other thread. Is there a way to transfer this one or delete it?

Some other things that can cause the EGR code, especially after running at cruise.
MAP sensor
EGR solenoid (doesn't open when commanded)
Plugged EGR passages/valve
Torn or hole in EGR diaphram
bottom of the list is a bad ECM (last resort).
