Can you buy Callaway Aerobody kit new?
Hey guys,
A fellow forum member started a thread in the ZR1 Discussion board named 'bodykit suggestions.' In that thread there was talk that you CAN buy a Callaway Aerobody kit new. I posted a reply to this comment and never recieved a reply myself. Can you actually buy this kit new? If so, how much is it? And where do you have to get it from?
Thanks for your time guys

BIG $$$$ and then bigger $$$ to install and paint. Figure like $8-10,000

The rear mold was the issue - a factory building fire destroyed the mold stored in a warehouse years ago - It took a lot of time and resources but it is again avail. directly through www.callawaycars.com (860)434-9002 Cost is just about 9k for the wide body design and it is about 4 or 5k at least for paint/fittment
Wll worth it for the timeless look and style, IMO

Is this the price for a ZR1 kit and standard kit as well? Or is the standard cheaper? Do you have to get it installed and painted by Callaway?
One more question, do you have any pics of it unpainted or any pics of your friends car that got it done last year?
Thanks very much for your help!

Car can be painted / installed by Callaway or elsewhere...
Here is my friends car being finished-
http://www.callawayownersgroup.com/C...April/cotm.htm
and done-
http://www.callawayownersgroup.com/C...04May/cotm.htm
Cost is about 1 grand less for standard body, over the wider zr1 body...
here is a zr1 body being prepped-
http://www.callawayownersgroup.com/C...ugust/cotm.htm
Replacement parts are avail. through Callaway Cars still, as is the whole package.
I hope this helps
